A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a tax-advantaged savings vehicle available to individuals covered by a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Make-A-Wish gives you the availability to have an HSA through HSA Bank.

*At the start of the plan year Make-A-Wish will contribute $100 for those employees with individual health plan coverage and $200 for those employees with family health care coverage. Throughout the year Make-A-Wish will contribute $25 per paycheck for individual plans and $50 per paycheck for family plans.

Funds in the account are used to pay for qualified medical, dental and vision expenses. This includes over-the-counter medications (no doctor's prescription needed) and menstrual products.

An HSA is a great way to save money on taxes and to budget for medical expenses. You can use HSA funds for medical expenses now or save for future medical costs, even into retirement.

Your HSA belongs to you. You do not lose funds if you don't spend them; funds remain in your account.
